Guarantee & After-Sales Service

Quite often, even after you have chosen an item and purchased it successfully, there may be some things you might want to change afterwards - either during or following the delivery process, when filing a return or applying for an exchange. Here we'll try to explain in plain terms how our store’s warranty policy works and how you can use it whilst shopping with us!

What Products are Covered with the Warranty?

All new items sold on the DDC Website are covered with a manufacturer's warranty. For imported items that have been received and deemed faulty, DDC will either offer a replacement item or a refund after confirming with you ( the customer ). For products manufactured by DDC Australia, We will provide repair and replacement of the faulty product. As a retailer we warrant these components to you, the original retail purchaser, to be free from material manufacturing defects.

  • Repair & Replacement

Unless you notify us to the contrary by email or telephone with in fourteen (14) days of delivery of any products and such notification is confirmed with in fourteen (14) days of its receipt by us, the products shall be deemed to have been accepted by you.
  • For products that DDC Australia have accepted and authorised to be exchanged and returned, we will provide you with an Australia Post label for the item(s) to be returned for repair or replacement. This is limited to manufacturing faults only. Should you wish to exchange an item for colour or size, the freight costs shall be paid by the customer unless an agreement had been made prior to ordering
  • Different Types of Warranty

While all new items offered by DDC Australia are covered by the manufacturer's warranty these do not include any army surplus items. These are sold as army surplus and are stated as such within the product page. Surplus items will often show signs of wear, tear and age which are not covered.

Where to Apply for Warranty Services?

Under these warranties, all of the legal liability of our store is limited to repair, or if required (or requested by the customer), replacement. Contact DDC Australia through our contact page or by phone and we will authorise the repair, exchange or return.

These warranties are not applicable for any of our products which have been altered by any person, dealer, or company without the express written authorization of our store.

In What Cases the Warranty is Not Provided?

There can be two limits for the warranties issued with the purchase of items on our website.

  • 14 Days Limited Warranty

The first one is the Warranty time frame, DDC Australia must be informed within 14 days of purchase..
  • Regular Usage Check

The second one is the examination of the item by our customer support agent, making sure the item was returned in the same new condition .

Change and Return

Filing a change or a return is an easy process, requiring nothing more than your proof of purchase (which usually is the receipt you received), communication with DDC Australia and returning the item using the Australia Post Returns label issued to you.
